What forms of payment do you accept?

I take cash, cheque, credit card and e-transfer. If none of these options are doable for you, we can discuss other options.

Are your services covered under my extended health plan? If so, do you offer direct billing?

Some extended health plans cover services from Registered Social Workers. While I can’t offer direct billing at this time, I’ll send you a receipt of payment so you can submit a claim for coverage.

Do you offer sliding scale pricing?

Yes! If you’re struggling financially but still want to book a session with me, reach out to me to discuss options. If you’re unsure whether or not you qualify for sliding scale pricing, you can check out this resource for self-assessing your financial precarity.

Do you offer free consultations? What would we talk about?

You can schedule a free 20-minute consultation with me by reaching out directly via e-mail or phone. I view the consultation like a job interview–you’re hiring me for a service, so you get to set the agenda. You might tell me about your goals for therapy or ask me about my professional experience. Mostly, we can take the time to get to know each other and see if it’s a good therapeutic fit.

Do you offer sessions in person?

No, I only offer virtual appointments at this time.
